Since more than 20 years I am honored to be an expert for football commentary and presenting TV shows. My passion for sports and for the game itself is being mirrored in my works and my engagement.
The long-lasting experience enables me to follow the game with precise analysis and to provide the viewers with a deeper and a more thoroughly insight of the game including tactics and strategies of teams.
As a football commentator and presenter for Sky Sports I do have the possibility to cover matches from different leagues and competitions. This requires a high degree in flexibility and knowledge to adjust quickly to different teams and styles of play. But exactly these challenges turn my job into a fascinating task.
The passion for sports and professionalism are my companions in each match. No matter if it is the Bundesliga, the Premier league, Champions League or a World Cup.

Either Bundesliga, the Premier League, the Champions League, or international presenting – I covert the events with my know-how and my passion for sports.
As TV-presenter, it is my main duty to provide the viewers with analysis and background information of a match. Hereby I succeed masterly in explaining happenings descriptively as well as keeping alive the arc of suspense.
But what turns me into a pundit? Besides long-lasting experience in football, I managed to acquire a profound know-how of tactics, players, clubs, and leagues. I am always up-to-date with the newest developments in world football, and therefore I can make appropriate judgements. This is a quality which characterizes my work and enables me to provide the viewers with new perspectives.
Except for my expertise, I am responsible for the perfect entertainment during a live event. My humorous style disperses the atmosphere and makes sometimes my guests and experts smile benignly. With this charming manner, I succeed to connect the viewers with the show – this turns the TV event into an exciting sports evening or afternoon with family and friends.
Knowledge and passion for the sports as well as an entertaining and poised appearance are my strengths with which I am able to attract the audience and create an exciting, pulsating and unique football atmosphere.

To be a successful presenter, there are some fundamental requirements to be fulfilled. A distinctive organizing talent is indispensable because presenters are responsible for coordinating and leading events, talks or shows. You must be able to keep track of the process and make sure that everything runs smoothly.
Basic is a suitable and profound preparation for topics, guests, and key aspects. A targeted preparation is a key factor for secure presenting and provides you with the right feeling to assess talks and topics. Only then a successful and discerning presentation in terms of content is guaranteed.
Furthermore, neutrality is a decisive feature of a presenter. While leading and controlling the conversation or the event, it is not allowed to embody your personal opinion. The role contents to enable a balanced conversation and to treat different point of views fairly and to lead them safely in terms of content.
In addition, assertiveness is of high significance. A good presenter must be able to make decisions and to enforce them. Sometimes it is necessary to call to order or to discipline guests. Always with respect and sovereignty.
All those abilities form a basic framework of a competent presenter.

TV-presenter in stadiums
As a TV-presenter in stadiums, you are an intermediary of information. The linguistic and emotional wire between the viewers at home and the event on-field. The voice of the presenter sounds almost orchestral when commentating, and the words have the power to trigger joy or disappointment, even of a whole nation.
What most don’t know is the immense challenge you are confronted with in a stadium. Besides the technical requirements like efficient microphones and cameras, you must be perfectly understandable in a noise surrounding area and be able to react superior to always changing developments and situations. As a presenter, you are situated in a toxication of enthusiasm – led by the euphoria to deliver the fire of sports directly into the living rooms of the viewers.
