TV-presenter in stadiums

As a TV-presenter in stadiums, you are an intermediary of information. The linguistic and emotional wire between the viewers at home and the event on-field. The voice of the presenter sounds almost orchestral when commentating, and the words have the power to trigger joy or disappointment, even of a whole nation.

What most don’t know is the immense challenge you are confronted with in a stadium. Besides the technical requirements like efficient microphones and cameras, you must be perfectly understandable in a noise surrounding area and be able to react superior to always changing developments and situations. As to be always informed about the process of the game and keep track of stretching statistics to feature them.

There is however also a mostly underestimated artistic feature in the work of a TV-Presenter in a stadium. To catch the emotions of the game, you must be passionate for the game itself. Only then you can explain authentically why a goal has a historical meaning or which player is able to pull the strings crucially for his team. As a presenter, you are situated in a toxication of enthusiasm – led by the euphoria to deliver the fire of sports directly into the living rooms of the viewers.
